Google has debuted the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with a short teaser film that is associated with Gemini, only hours after announcing the Pixel 9 Pro. Though the devices have already been leaked online, as is typical with Pixel phones, at least we can put an end to rumors regarding the design or moniker of Google's upcoming foldable Android phone. Double-stacked lenses for the back camera module, the outer screen, and the hinge are all visibly seen in Google's teaser film.
After multiple leaks that provided extensive information about the phone, including hands-on photos and comparisons to other new gadgets, Google finally unveiled the Pixel 9 Pro. The company will host an event on August 13 at Google HQ in California to reveal more information about the Pixel 9 lineup and other forthcoming gadgets.
The Pixel 9 Pro was teased to include a significant AI and Gemini component in a video that the company released. Additionally, Google's online shop offers another picture of the Pixel 9 Pro, and you can already register there to receive updates about it.
Google is reportedly preparing to release four phones in the near future: the Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, the Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This information comes from recent regulatory filings and other leaks. We won't have to wait too long to formally see what Google has in store, as its event is in less than a month.
We might have to wait until Google's hardware presentation on August 13th to find out about additional specifications and information regarding improvements from the first Fold. This phone, the 9 Pro, the Pixel Watch 3, and whatever remains will all be visible there. Google's online store allows you to register for updates regarding the Pixel 9 lineup. Earlier today, the page just included the Pro, but it now also features the Pro Fold.
